A pulse pair control signal comprising an adiabatic pulse and a matched phase non-adiabatic pulse is generated. The pulse pair control signal is transformed into a power independent of number of slices pulse pair. The Power Independent of Number of Slices pulse pair control signal is output to a waveform generator to produce the Power Independent of Number of Slices pulse pair in a spin echo sequence.
