A disaster tolerance method used in a Serving-Call Session Control Function (S-CSCF) network element side is disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention; the method comprises: receiving a user called request message; when determining a Session Border Controller (SBC) and/or Proxy-Call Session Call Function (P-CSCF) corresponding to the user is in a failure state according to the user called request message, transmitting a Service Allocation Request (SAR) message to a Home Subscriber Server (HSS), so as to realize a disaster tolerance process according to the SAR message; the SAR message carrying a P-CSCF disaster tolerance identification. A network element, a server, and a storage medium are also disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention. |
