Provided are a call method and apparatus, which relate to the field of communications. It can be achieved that a terminal in a call restriction state quickly communicates with other terminals. The method includes: receiving, by a first terminal, indication information triggered by a user, the indication information being configured to indicate that the first terminal initiates a voice call to a second terminal via a circuit switched (CS) domain; and sending, by the first terminal, a notification message to the second terminal via a packet switched (PS) domain when the first terminal is in a call restriction state, wherein the call restriction state is a state in which the voice call cannot be executed via the CS domain. |
