A machining system for a workpiece comprises a thread-shaping device (44) for shaping a thread in a workpiece, the machining system comprising a housing and one or more tool holders rotatably and slidingly mounted in or on the housing for a thread-shaping device, a linear drive and a rotary drive for the tool holder(s), and a receiving device with one or more holders (19) for integrating the thread-shaping device (44), the machining system being characterised in that the thread-shaping device (44) can be integrated in the receiving device by means of a detachable plug connection. |
