摘要 Disclosed is an air conditioner for a vehicle, which can control air volume to a floor vent and a console vent together without additional actuator, arm, and door; can increase air volume of a defrost vent in a defrost mode; and can increase air volume to a console in other air conditioning modes. The air conditioner for a vehicle includes an air conditioning case wherein an air inlet is formed around the inlet, and the defrost vent, a face vent, and the floor vent are formed around the outlet. A console vent is provided to guide a part of the air in the air conditioning case to the console of the vehicle. An auxiliary console inlet is formed to allow the air discharged to the floor vent to partially flow into the console vent. A floor door controls opening of an inlet of the floor vent and the auxiliary console inlet together, and the floor door comprises a bypass flow path allowing the air discharged to the floor vent to partially flow into the console vent. Therefore, the air conditioner can control air volume around the floor and the console together by changing the shape of the floor door; can reduce manufacturing costs by being able to control air volume around the console without additional components like the actuator, the door, the arm, etc.; can provide improved defrosting performance by increasing air volume to the defrost vent by controlling air volume around the console in the defrost mode; and can control air volume around the console in various modes according to the shape of the floor door.
