The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a Hibiscus manihot extract or fermented Hibiscus manihot, to a Hibiscus manihot extract or fermented Hibiscus manihot manufactured by the manufacturing method, and to a cosmetic composition comprising the Hibiscus manihot extract or the fermented Hibiscus manihot. The Hibiscus manihot extract or the fermented Hibiscus manihot can be used as a natural thickener and a skin barrier protector, when applied to cosmetics in a form in which high contents of a viscous material and amino acid, organic acid, and neutral sugar are bonded. Also, the Hibiscus manihot extract or the fermented Hibiscus manihot has higher stability than a chemical product, thereby being used in various ages, and the Hibiscus manihot extract or the fermented Hibiscus manihot can be used as moisturizing cosmetics by itself. |
