PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve more comfortable drive feeling that reflects the speed limit of a road during traveling and the intention of a driver.SOLUTION: A travel control method, using a switch capable of accelerating input of a set speed of a vehicle and decelerating input of the set speed, comprises: an acquisition step of acquiring the speed limit of a road on which the vehicle travels; a notification step of notifying information relating to the speed limit; and an update step of, when the set speed is higher than the speed limit, not updating the set speed to the speed limit if the accelerating input is made within a predetermined time from start of the notification, and updating the same if the decelerating input is made within the predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
