PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adaptive modulation and coding (AMC) that supports high-order modulation schemes.SOLUTION: A user terminal of the present invention receives a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index, and acquires, as a modulation index of a downlink shared channel, a modulation order corresponding to the received MCS index from a first table, an MCS index, a modulation order including 8, and a transport block size (TBS) index being associated with each other in the first table. In the first table, a combination of a predetermined modulation order and a TBS index is punctured from a second table such that the bit number of an MCS index in the first table is equal to that of the second table, an MCS index, a modulation order less than 8, and a TBS index being associated with each other in the second table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20 |
