PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue operation of a system by mitigating its impact, even if such a state that a gap of the electrical characteristics from the standard is large occurs in any storage battery cell, in a storage battery system for mitigating variation of generated power using renewable energy.SOLUTION: A current comparison unit 104 compares the current of each storage battery string 111 detected by a current detector 120. Based on the comparison results of current by the current comparison unit 104, a mode setting unit 106 determines whether or not a storage battery cell 101 having a large gap of the electrical characteristics from the standard exists in a storage battery bank 112. If a determination is made that a storage battery cell 101 having a large gap of the electrical characteristics from the standard exists, at least one of the upper limit value of discharge depth and the maximum continuous discharge charge amount is changed when charging or discharging the storage battery bank 112.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
