PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary storage device which can deliver articles in a different position between an overhead traveling vehicle system and a second transportation system, and can also deliver the articles between the overhead traveling vehicle system and a delivery position of the articles other than the temporary storage device.CONSTITUTION: A temporary storage device comprises: a local bogie having a hoist; traveling rails of the local bogie which pass a lower part of traveling rails of the overhead traveling vehicle system being a part immediately above an article delivery position; and a slide rack which can slide between the lower part of the traveling rails of the local bogie being the part immediately above the delivery position, and a second position which is different from the part immediately above the delivery position in a direction orthogonal to the traveling rails of the local bogie within a horizontal plane, and can deliver the articles between the traveling rails of the local bogie and a second transportation system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
