PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet removal device for can washing capable of effectively removing contents sticking to a can conveyed whose axis faces a vertical direction.SOLUTION: A can C whose axis faces a vertical direction is supported and conveyed by a belt-like body 22 of a conveyer 21; at an upstream side washing part 24 arranged on the uppermost stream side in a can conveying direction, water is sprayed onto the top surface and the outer peripheral surface of the upper end part of the can C; at a next upstream side droplet removal part 25, pressurized air is sprayed onto the top surface of the upper end part of the can C to blow off liquid present on the top surface of the upper end part of the can C; at a next downstream side washing part 26, water is sprayed onto the top surface and the outer peripheral surface of the upper end part of the can C; and at a next downstream side droplet removal part 27, pressurized air is sprayed onto the top surface and the outer peripheral surface of the upper end part of the can C to blow off liquid present on the top surface and the outer peripheral surface of the upper end part of the can C. Pressurized air from top surface air nozzles 36 and 37 is blown out downward obliquely toward the upstream side in the can conveying direction. Pressurized air blown out from an outer peripheral surface air knife 38 is moved from the upper side to the lower side of the can outer peripheral surface with conveyance of the can C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
