PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device that can increase a period for which a high voltage and large power are simultaneously applied (supplied) to a load.SOLUTION: A step-up transformer 3 is constructed by two or more transformers T1 to T5. Excitation current of an excitation winding Lp5 of the transformer T5 nearest to a second output terminal 2b side (voltage generation side) is switched by a first switching element Q1. The respective excitation windings Lp1 to Lp4 of the other transformers T1 to T4 are connected to one another in parallel, and each excitation current thereof is switched by a second switching element Q2. The first and second switching elements Q1, Q2 are subjected to ON/OFF control at the same time by a control circuit 5. A series circuit of diodes (D1 to D4) and capacitors (C1 to C4) is connected between the second output terminal 2b and each of the connection points e to h of the respective output windings Ls1 to Ls5 of the transformers T1 to T5 which are connected to one another in series in a direction along which current flows to the second output terminal 2b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
