PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus, a recording device, an image reading device, and its data transfer speed setting method that can reduce an impact by EMI and achieve high-quality high-speed data transfer.SOLUTION: Data transfer speed between a body part for controlling device operation and a movable part for moving in tune with the device operation via a communication line is set as follows. The main part first transmits test data to the mobile part via the communication line, receives, via the communication line, data returned when the mobile part returns the transmitted test data by return, and measures an error rate for the transmitted test data. If the measured error rate does not meet a predetermined threshold value, data transfer speed from the body part to the mobile part is set slower than the transmission speed of the test data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
