PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for detecting an object using a radar and a camera, capable of appropriately determining whether objects are an identical object.SOLUTION: A collision reduction device determines whether a first object detected on the basis of detection information by a millimeter wave radar 2 is proximate to a second object detected on the basis of an image picked up by a monocular camera 3 (S310), and determines that the first object and the second object are an identical object on condition that the first object is proximate to the second object and that a difference between first collision time for the first object and second collision time for the second object is smaller than a reference value (S340 to S360).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
