PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit which can be configured by optionally selecting a number of motors of a drive source, from 1 to 3 motors.SOLUTION: A drive unit comprises: a plate-like support medium; four or more input gears for inputting directly or indirectly motive force of rotation to four or more rotary drive bodies which are rotatably disposed on the support medium; one motor in one-motor configuration time, two motors in two-motor configuration time, or three motors in three-motor configuration time, supported to the support medium; one passage hole for passing an output shaft of the motor in one-motor configuration time, two passage holes for passing output shafts of the respective motors in two-motor configuration time, or three-passage holes for passing output shafts of the respective motors in three-motor configuration time, disposed on the support medium; and a rotary transmission mechanism disposed on the support medium, for distributing and transmitting motive force of rotation obtained from the output shaft of the motor in one-motor configuration time to at least three input gears of the four or more input gears. Part of the rotary transmission mechanism is removed in two-motor configuration time or three-motor configuration time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
