PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens, optical device and manufacturing method for the zoom lens that have an excellent optical performance even with a high variable magnification.SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises, arranged in order from an object side along an optical axis,: a first lens group G1 that has positive refractive power; a second lens group G2 that has negative refractive power; a third lens group G3 that has the positive refractive power; a fourth lens group G4 that has the negative refractive power; and a fifth lens group G5 that has the positive refractive power, in which a space among each lens group is changed to vary a magnification, and the first lens group G1 is composed of three or more lens pieces, the fifth lens group G5 moves to an image plane side upon varying the magnification from a wide-angle end state to a telephoto end state, and the following conditional expression (1) is satisfied. 0.020<(-f2)/ft<0.031...(1), where f2: a focal length of the second lens group G2 in the telephoto end state, and ft: a focal length of an entire system in the telephoto end state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
