A control device is provided which, depending on the speech input, can prevent execution of processing that differs from the intended processing; also provided are a control method, a program and an information storage medium. A speech receiving unit (60) receives speech. An output control unit (72) performs control such that speech received by the speech receiving unit (60) is outputted to a program capable of executing processing using said speech. In the case that speech received by the speech receiving unit (60) is recognized as representing given information, the output control unit (72) performs control such that the speech received by the speech receiving unit thereafter is not outputted to the program capable of executing processing using said speech.
