The invention relates to the field of organic chemistry, and more particularly to a method for producing modified phthalonitriles which contain organosilicon fragments and for producing binders based thereon, and can be used in various technical fields, particularly aircraft manufacture and automotive manufacture, for producing polymer composite materials. The claimed phthalonitrile monomer modified with organosilicon fragments is characterized by general formula (I), where X is a bivalent aromatic radical, and Y is an organosilicon fragment. A method for producing a modified phthalonitrile monomer comprises producing hydroxyl-containing phthalonitrile and subsequently synthesizing a phthalonitrile monomer therefrom. Such a phthalonitrile combines the properties of traditional types of phthalonitriles, i.e. high thermal resistance, with the advantages of organosilicon polymers, which demonstrate good solubility, lasting heat resistance, and a low glass transition temperature, providing a physical state at room temperature which is in the form of a viscous liquid or a semi-solid substance. Also disclosed are a binder, based on a phthalonitrile monomer, and a prepreg. |
