摘要 The present invention relates to data compression method and device, and data decompression method and device. The data compression method includes the steps of: dividing source binary data by a certain number of clusters and analyzing a type and frequency of each cluster bundle and cluster; mapping a universal code to each cluster in each bundle; creating a mapping dictionary and compressed data for each bundle; and storing the IDs of bundles of which the compression efficiency does not exist or is insignificant. The data decompression method includes the steps of: dividing source compressed data by a certain number of universal codes and analyzing a type and frequency of individual universal code bundles and universal codes; creating a mapping table from the mapping dictionary information for each bundle; mapping cluster information in each bundle for each universal code using the mapping table; and decompressing each bundle of the compressed data using the mapped universal code-cluster information, and for a bundle ID of which the compression effect is insignificant or does not exist, decompressing bundles by creating the same cluster from the universal code without decoding the mapping dictionary or translating the mapping table. By dividing the whole source data by various clusters according to the user setting, the data of the entire population is separated into N bundles of clusters depending on the characteristics of a detailed distribution table. As a result, the number decreases and the statistical distribution increases, so the number of irregular clusters increases and the compression effect increases. After writing the detailed distribution table, by replacing a longer cluster with a shorter cluster, the compression efficiency is increased.
