PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform paper surface flushing while suppressing deterioration of image quality.SOLUTION: When halftone processing is performed by a dither mask, at least one of threshold values stored in the dither mask stores a negative value invariably setting a correspondent pixel to have dot formation. In dot data for printing one printing medium, the dither mask is disposed such that at least one pixel set to have the dot formation by a mask pixel storing the negative value is included in pixel columns disposed side-by-side in a feed direction of the printing medium, and the dot data are generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
