PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply apparatus capable of realizing the atomization, wide diffusion, and low penetration of fuel spray injected and supplied to an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A fuel supply apparatus 1 for an internal combustion engine pressurizes fuel pumped up from a fuel tank 2 by a fuel pressurization pump 3 and injects the fuel to the internal combustion engine from an injector 10. A needle valve of the injector 10 and a nozzle main body acting as electrodes charge the fuel injected from the injector 10. An ECU 30 controls a voltage applied to the fuel from the electrodes and voltage application time on the basis of permittivity or electric conductivity of the fuel supplied to the injector 10. The ECU 30 thereby enables the fuel injected from the injector 10 at high pressure to be sufficiently charged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
