A method and a device for processing fiber connection are disclosed in the present invention, and the method includes: a network element obtains the fiber connection data of the single board on the network element side; the network element reports the fiber connection data to a network management device. By present invention, the problem in the prior art that the fiber connection of the network element side and the fiber connection of the network management side cannot be configured reasonably is resolved, so that the improvement of efficiency in generating the fiber connection information is achieved, the effect of remaining the real-time synchronizing of the fiber connection information between the network management side and the network element side is obtained, the time of the field detection on the error fiber connection is effectively reduced, and the efficiency is improved. |
