摘要 Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications. Provided are a method and base station for cell uplink coordination, capable of solving the problem of extended latency in inter-base station data exchange that prevents joint reception of demodulation and decoding that leads to low user equipment (UE) uplink rate. A specific solution is such that: a first base station determines whether or not first uplink data transmitted by a UE and forwarded by a second base station is received before a first moment, if not, then the first base station demodulates and decodes second uplink data received from the UE, if an erroneous demodulation and decoding result is produced, then the first base station hangs up a HARQ process and determines whether or not the first uplink data forwarded by the second base station is received between the first moment and a second moment, where the second moment is later than the first moment, if yes, then the first base station jointly demodulates and decodes the first uplink data and the second uplink data, and determines a demodulation and decoding result. The embodiments of the present invention are for use in demodulation and decoding of uplink data of a UE by a base station.
