PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and an electronic device which are easily visible.SOLUTION: The display device includes a switch liquid crystal unit, a display unit, and a control unit according to an embodiment. The switch liquid crystal unit includes first and second switching elements. The display unit is overlapped on the switch liquid crystal unit. The control unit carries out a first operation in a first period and a second operation in a second period after the first period. The first operation includes an operation of supplying a first signal having a first voltage value to the first switching element, and an operation of supplying a second signal having a second voltage value different from the first voltage value to the second switching element. The second operation includes an operation of supplying a post-switch signal to the first switching element and an operation of supplying a third signal having the first voltage value and a first supply start time in the second period to the second switching element. The post-switch signal has at least one of a second supply start time different from the first supply start time and a third voltage value different from the first voltage value and the second voltage value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
