PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor which prevents occurrence of eddy current loss and influence of hysteresis loss, and further generates little heat, while keeping reduction in amounts of magnets to be used.SOLUTION: A linear motor 10 comprises: a movable element 1 having two rows of soft magnetic plates 12 and 13 in which a plurality of soft magnetic plates are arranged in a movable direction; and a stator 2 that is constituted of a first stator unit, on both faces of which are formed magnetic pole teeth, which has a soft magnetic body part 22 whose center part is wound with a driving coil 24, a second stator unit 31 which has soft magnetic body parts 32a and 32b separated vertically in which magnetic pole teeth are formed, permanent magnets 34a and 34b and a back yoke 35, and a third stator unit 41 that has the same structure as the second stator unit 31. Between the first stator unit and the second stator unit 31 is interposed one row of soft magnetic plate 12, and between the first stator unit and the third stator unit 41 is interposed the other row of soft magnetic pole 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
