A scroll compressor is provided with a rotor (24), a first stator (26), and a second stator (28). The rotor has: a rotor base (241) including a crank fitting section (242); a first rotor tooth section (243) provided on one axial side of the rotor base; and a second rotor tooth section (244) provided on the other axial side of the rotor base. The first stator has a first scroll groove (26a) in which the first rotor tooth section is inserted and into which fluid flows. The second stator has a second scroll groove (28a) in which the second rotor tooth section is inserted and into which the fluid flows. The rotor compresses, within one of the first scroll groove and the second scroll groove, the fluid and further compresses, within the other of the first scroll groove and the second scroll groove, the fluid having been compressed within the one scroll groove. The second scroll groove extends further inward than the first scroll groove in the radial direction (DRr) of a rotating shaft section (221). |
