The invention relates to an arrangement of electro-optical elements (5, 6) in a hermetic housing (14), in which one or more optical passage(s) is/are formed to the electro-optical element(s) with at least one planar optical substrate (4). The arrangement can be used for the optical transfer of data, such as e.g. measurement signals or information, and/or for energy transfer by means of optical radiation. Very different electro-optical elements, such as e.g. elements emitting electromagnetic radiation (lasers, laser diodes), elements detecting electromagnetic radiation (photodiodes) or else combinations of these elements (electro-optical transceivers), can be used in the invention. Optical waveguides (8) can be embodied in an integrated form in the substrate. |
