The present document describes a clasp device for connecting first and second ends of an elongated member used in a necklace or a bracelet comprising first and second connection clasp sections adapted for connection respectively to the first and second ends of the elongated member and adapted to be releasably connected together. At least one of the first and second connection clasp sections includes a releasable portion to connect the clasp device to an associated one of the first and second ends of the elongated member. The releasable portion is adapted for allowing the elongated member to release from the clasp device if sufficient force is applied by the elongated member on the releasable portion. |
