PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and method which can suppress deterioration in image quality due to impact interference and form an image with high image quality, an inkjet printing system and a program.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: an error reflection processing portion 546 that generates arrangement of a dot reflecting at least one of errors in a dot diameter, a dot shape, a dot formation positional displacement and a discharge defect; a first information generating portion 532A that generates first information 553A responding to a state where dots contact each other in a first dot arrangement before the error is reflected; a second information generating portion 532B that generates second information 553B responding to a state where dots contact each other in second dot arrangement after the error is reflected; an impact interference effect estimating portion 536 that quantitatively estimates variation in effects on dot movement by impact interference after the error is reflected; and signal processing portions 58 and 80 that perform, on the basis of results of impact interference effect estimation, processing for generating a half-tone parameter or a half-tone image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 42 |
