PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a flow of a gas from being blocked even when a gas flow passage member and a sealing plate are welded.SOLUTION: A fuel cell includes: a membrane electrode assembly; the gas flow passage member which is disposed on one surface of the membrane electrode assembly; a separator which is disposed to hold the membrane electrode assembly and the gas flow passage member; a plurality of holes which are provided on opposite sides of the separator, divided by a partition part and arranged side by side along the sides; and the sealing plate which is disposed in the gas flow passage member closer to the membrane electrode assembly and in an end portion of the gas flow passage member closer to the holes. The gas flow passage member and the sealing plate are welded at a predetermined welding position, and the predetermined welding position is a position on a straight line that passes the partition part and is vertical to the sides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
