PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make stress properly transferred between an existing structure and a reinforcing frame.SOLUTION: An earthquake strengthening structure 10 includes an existing structure 12 which has an existing outer peripheral column 34, and a reinforcing frame 50 which has a newly-constructed inner column 54 adjacent to the existing outer peripheral column 34 and which is attached to the existing structure 12.
