PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector device capable of appropriately and surely performing positioning of a conductive shell which is attached to a housing and to which ground potential is applied on a lateral surface portion of the housing.SOLUTION: A connector device includes: a housing 14 arranged on a wiring board 13; a plurality of signal contacts 15 and a plurality of ground contacts 16 held by the housing 14; and a conductive shell 18B attached to an outer surface portion of the housing 14 and connected to a ground potential portion of the wiring board 13. The conductive shell 18B has contact engagement portions 22B formed on regions corresponding to ground connection terminal portions 16a of the ground contacts 16 on a body section 20B formed along the outside surface portion 14c of the housing 14. The conductive shell is positioned by engaging the contact engagement portions 22B with portions 16an to be engaged formed on respective ground connection terminal portions 16a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
