PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily set, in an information processing device, an event policy for executing power control for each part of the information processing device in correspondence to a state change which may occur in the information processing device.SOLUTION: A management device communicating with an information processing device, when setting a power state transited in correspondence to an event indicating a state change which occurs in the information processing device, obtains information indicating dependence related to control of power supply for each part registered in correspondence to the state change of the information processing device. In addition, the management device generates an event policy related to the power state to be set to each part of the information processing device in correspondence to the set event, the transited power state, and the information indicating the obtained dependence, and transmits a request to set the generated event policy to the information processing device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
