Disclosed is a laser module that has a laser diode, a first collimating lens, and a beam twister. The laser diode has a plurality of emitters, and outputs laser light from a light emitting surface, said laser light being outputted from each of the emitters. The first collimating lens is provided at a first distance from the light emitting surface of the laser diode, and parallelizes laser light spreading in the first axis direction. The beam twister is provided at a second distance from the first collimating lens, and rotates the laser light approximately 90 degrees. Furthermore, the width of each of the emitters on the light emitting surface is 5-120 μm. The pitch of the emitters on the light emitting surface is 295-305 μm. |
