摘要 The present invention relates to a system and a method for controlling a phase of a cam shaft in a brushless (BLDC) motor for electronic continuous variable valve timing (E-CVVT) which divides a closing side and an opening side into one or more sectors when controlling a phase of a cam shaft in a brushless motor connected to a suction cam shaft of a vehicle engine, and reflects an offset value for valve phase closing or an offset value for valve phase opening based on a target valve phase if the sector of a current measured valve phase and the sector of the target valve phase are different to control the valve phase. According to the present invention, the system for controlling a phase of a cam shaft in a brushless motor for E-CVVT comprises: an engine unit to receive fuel to provide rotational power; a brushless motor unit connected to a cam shaft of the engine unit; a phase angle detection unit to detect a phase angle of the cam shaft; a sector offset storage unit to divide a closing side and an opening side for the phase angle into one or more sectors, and store a table in which an offset value for valve phase closing or an offset value for valve phase opening corresponds to each of the sectors; and an electronic control unit (ECU) to compare the sector of a current phase angle detected by the phase angle detection unit and the sector of a target phase angle, and reflect the offset value for valve phase closing or the offset value for valve phase opening based on the target valve phase angle if the sectors are different to control the phase angle of the cam shaft.
