According to the present invention, a flashlight in which a battery is easily installed has an idling grounding unit on one surface of a battery stopper unit for an inserted battery to remain at the same location without being rotated when the battery is inserted in parallel. A subsidiary component such as a battery case in which a previous battery is mounted by tightening the battery stopper unit with a screw is not required. A male gear is formed in a rotation unit of a lamp, and a female gear elastically moved in a horizontal direction is prepared in a lamp mounting unit, thereby rotating the lamp to a desired location by a ratchet gear action and then fixating the lamp.
