摘要 The present invention relates to a method for automatically seeding sapphire, which melts high purity alumina Al_2O_3 at the temperature greater than or equal to 2000°C to connect molten alumina to a single crystalline seed, and slowly grows the molten alumina into a single crystal. The method for automatically seeding comprises the following steps: placing a lightweight load cell in a lower part of a seeding container; and accurately and quickly automatically determining a dipping time and a pulling distance by detecting a minimal weigh change generated when seeding.
