PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that it is necessary for a user to walk to the front of a device to which the user wants to perform login, and to perform an operation to hold an IC card over an IC card reader, and to wait until the user is authenticated in the case of performing login by using the IC card, and that a user may forget to carry the IC card.SOLUTION: In a communication system having a portable terminal and an information processor, the portable terminal is configured to acquire a distance between the portable terminal and the information processor on the basis of a signal of short-range radio communication with the information processor, and to, when the acquired distance is shorter than a first predetermined value, establish short-range radio communication with the information processor, and to transmits a service request to the information processor in a state that short-range radio communication is established, and to receive a response to the service request from the information processor, and the information processor is configured to, when receiving the service request from the portable terminal, transmit a response to the service request to the portable terminal by short-range radio communication.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
