PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous rice cooking apparatus by which improvement in heating efficiency and reduction in heating time can be attained and by which excellent rice cooking can be materialized.SOLUTION: The burner head is equipped with a plurality of small holes on the upper face of a burner case and with a surface combustion member using heat resistant metallic fiber for covering the small holes. The burner head includes: a first burner head in which a rectangular major side is prepared in the direction roughly orthogonal to the transporting direction of a rice cooking pot; and a second burner head in which a plurality of rectangular major sides are roughly made in parallel to the transporting direction of the rice cooking pot and with spaces apart roughly in orthogonal direction. Totally aerated premixed gas is burnt in a red heat state with the surface combustion member, and the dimension of the major side of the second burner head is made larger than the horizontal face width in the bottom of the rice cooking pot roughly in parallel to the transporting direction. Heating only by the second burner head and simultaneous heating by both the first burner head and the second burner head are repeated in a plurality of times in the transporting direction, which is the characteristic of the continuous rice cooking apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
