PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material effectively suppressing contamination by a foreign substance, a manufacturing method thereof, and a contamination suppression method of a foreign substance to a thermoplastic resin composition for the packaging material.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a packaging material at least including a thermoplastic resin layer includes: a step of preparing a thermoplastic resin composition containing an additive configured to be positively charged by friction with a metal and a thermoplastic resin; a conveyance step of transporting the thermoplastic resin composition through a metallic pipe; and a step of heating and melting the thermoplastic resin composition after the conveyance step and forming into a film-like shape.SELECTED DRAWING: None
