PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the vibration of a baffle plate and suppress damage to heat transfer tubes adjacent to the baffle plate and damage to the baffle plate itself.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger in which a plurality of heat transfer tube blocks is arranged in a width direction, comprises: a plurality of heat transfer tubes constituting each heat transfer tube block; a plurality of porous plates provided in the respective heat transfer tube blocks and each having a plurality of holes into which the heat transfer tubes are inserted; a plurality of porous plate support sections provided in upper end portions of the respective porous plates and suspending and supporting the porous plates from above; a baffle plate provided between the two heat transfer tube blocks adjacent in the width direction among the plurality of heat transfer tubes so as to extend along a longitudinal direction of the heat transfer tubes, separating the two heat transfer tube blocks from each other in the width direction, and supported by the two heat transfer tube blocks; and a connection part connecting the porous plates in lower end portions of the porous plates belonging to the two heat transfer tube blocks, respectively so that the heat transfer tubes belonging to the two heat transfer tube blocks are pressed against the baffle plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
