PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shopping consultation system that uses a communication network to connect a customer to a salesperson, who gives a proper commodity explanation, in real time according to the customer's preference tendency for a commodity so that the customer can proceed with shopping while receiving the proper commodity explanation.SOLUTION: A salesperson-side terminal which a shop salesperson uses, a user-side terminal which receives instruction or explanation on a commodity to be purchased, and a server device are interconnected over a communication network. User commodity preference estimation means included in the server device estimates a user's preference tendency for a commodity on the basis of user browsing history information on a history that the user has browsed commodity introduction/explanation information. User salesperson matching means included in the server device selects the salesperson, which attends the user in real time, on the basis of the user commodity preference tendency information and salesperson browsing history information on a history that each of salespersons has browsed the commodity introduction/explanation information from the viewpoint of selecting a commodity which the salesperson himself/herself purchases.
