PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform following control.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 100 comprises: an own-vehicle traveling information acquisition part 120 which acquires own-vehicle traveling information on the traveling of an own vehicle 1; an inter-vehicle communication part 12 which acquires preceding-vehicle traveling information on the traveling of a preceding vehicle which is created in the preceding vehicle; an inter-vehicle relative speed derivation part 124 which derives an inter-vehicle relative speed on the basis of the own-vehicle traveling information and the preceding-vehicle traveling information; an autonomous relative speed derivation part 122 which derives an autonomous relative speed on the basis of autonomous traveling information on the traveling of the own vehicle 1 and the preceding vehicle which is acquired by an autonomous sensor part 102; a correction rate derivation part 128 which derives a correction rate for correcting the inter-vehicle relative speed with the autonomous relative speed as a reference when the preceding-vehicle traveling information and the autonomous traveling information can be acquired; and a traveling control part 126 which corrects the inter-vehicle relative speed by using the correction rate, and controls the own vehicle by inter-vehicle following control for controlling a traveling state of the own vehicle on the basis of at least the corrected inter-vehicle relative speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
