The aim of the invention is to provide a gripper arm which can be adapted to the shape of the container in a flexible and autonomous manner in order to grip and hold the container in a stable manner. As a result, the gripper section (5) is mounted such that it can pivot about a pivoting axis (8) which extends perpendicularly to the bore (10).
