An antitheft steering column lock (1) for locking/unlocking a steering column, comprises:
- a bolt (3) movable between a locked position and a released position,
- a housing (12),
- a structure member (30),
- a break off security system of the bolt (3) comprising an insert member (5) capable of being released in response to a physical attack on the antitheft steering column lock (1) in order to be inserted in a first path (35) in the bolt (3), and
- an anti-dismounting system comprising a pin (7) capable of being inserted in a second path (37) in the bolt (3) only when said bolt (3) is in its released position,
wherein the break off security system of the antitheft steering column lock (1) and the anti-dismounting system are placed on the same side of the bolt (3) and are mechanically linked to each other. |
