The present invention relates to a hanger for supporting a cable which is capable of stably supporting an optical cable, a CATV coaxial cable, a general cable, or the like, which is installed in a messenger wire installed between telephone poles. To this end, the hanger for supporting a cable according to the present invention includes a hanger body having one end and the other end spaced apart from each other by cutting a steel wire and having a circular shape, wherein the ends of the hanger body are located in a misalignment direction while facing each other, and a circular portion of the hanger body is surrounded by a protective band; a first fixing hook having a ring shape and extending from the other end of the hanger body to be primarily coupled to the messenger wire; an elastic support unit extending from the first fixing hook in a transverse direction; and a second fixing hook extending from the elastic support unit in a transverse direction and having a ring shape, wherein the second fixing hook is secondly coupled to the messenger wire at a position in which the second fixing hook is spaced apart from the first fixing hook. |
