The present invention provides an electronic device for reproducing notes written on a medium by a user. The electronic device comprises: a communication unit for communicating with an electronic pen which detects information on the notes written by the user; a display for displaying at least part of a medium image corresponding to the medium, and reproducing the notes written by the user on the medium image to visually represent the notes; and a control unit for determining, on the basis of pen data received from the communication unit, whether the position of the notes written by the user satisfies a predetermined condition for a first area corresponding to the at least part of the medium image, which is being displayed through the display, shifting the part of the medium image, which is being displayed through the display, from the first area to a second area different from the first area and displaying the second area through the display when the predetermined condition is satisfied, and displaying the reproduction of the notes taken by the user at a position on the second area, which corresponds to the position of the notes written by the user, in order to reproduce the notes written by the user. |
