The present invention relates to a user authentication method using biometric data. The method comprises the steps of: a) receiving image information by photographing biometric data of a user; b) comparing the image information with registered biometric data of the user; c) comparing a similarity between the image information and the registered biometric data with an authentication reference value; d) passing authentication if the similarity is higher than the authentication reference value; e) comparing the image information with the registered biometric data N times if the similarity is lower than the authentication reference value; f) determining whether result values of the N comparisons are identical; g) passing authentication if the result values of the N comparisons are identical; and h) returning to step a) if the result values of the N comparisons are not identical. |
