PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image evaluation apparatus and an image evaluation program that can calculate evaluated values of image quality in a way matching human sense not relying on colors or concentrations.SOLUTION: A spatial frequency distribution generating unit 11 generates spatial frequency distribution regarding lightness contents and color contents of an image to be evaluated, and an evaluated value calculating unit 12 calculates on the basis of that spatial frequency distribution an integrated value in a predetermined frequency range. A lightness characteristic correcting unit 15 corrects the calculated value of image evaluation in accordance with the average lightness value of the image to be evaluated. Further, a color characteristic correcting unit 16 corrects the calculated value of image evaluation of color contents having undergone lightness correction in accordance with the average color value of the image to be evaluated. In this way, evaluated values of image quality matching human sense can be obtained without relying on lightness or color. |
