In a bilateral machine (1) for machining the edges of plates (L) made of glass or stone there is included at least one radiusing device (R) for forming a radiused circular profile at one or more corners (C1, C2) of the plate (L) defined between two adjacent sides of the plate (L). Two radiusing devices (R) are preferably provided on the two banks (D, S) of the bilateral machine (1), downstream of tool units (U, V, W, Z) for machining the lateral edges of the plate (L). The radiusing devices (R) are configured and controlled for performing the radiusing operation of one or more corners (C1, C2) of the plate while the plate (L) advances through the work area (A) of the machine (1). |
